Welcome to My New Website!

Hi! If you’re reading this, you’ve found your way to my new website. I had hosted my work on a previous incarnation of my website for a number of years, but for a while now I’ve been wanting to upgrade to something that better reflects my unique style and personality. I’m very pleased with how this site came out and I hope you enjoy exploring everything I have to offer here!

For those who may not be familiar with me and my work, I’d be happy to give you a brief introduction:

I’m Kyle, and I’m a writer and freelance editor living in the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. I’ve been writing for quite a long time, but I first got serious in 2014 when I self-published what was then the first version of my debut novel, The Showstopper. Since then, I’ve been working on various projects over the years, but life in many forms has prolonged the journey of any of my ideas to further publication. Now that I’m in a phase of life where I finally feel I have some renewed creative direction and can concentrate on my writing, I hope to have more stories — and blog posts like this one — available soon. You can read more about me and my background on the About page.

As you explore my site, you’ll likely come across my pages that mention my current works (and works in progress) and editing services. I’m happy to offer my services as an editor and proofreader to anyone who’s interested, and at a price point that I feel reflects that it’s not just about the money for me; I deeply care about and am invested in the stories of the people I choose to work with. If you’re interested in learning more about my editing services or getting a quote, visit the Contact page to get in touch!

As for my books section, I have one work available as of this writing: The Showstopper, a historical fiction thriller set in 1920s New York. It’s like The Great Gatsby, Batman, and Phantom of the Opera all rolled into one; I started writing it in my high school and college years and first published it on Amazon in 2014. Since then, I’ve learned a lot about self-publishing and the publishing game in general, and I was proud to re-release The Showstopper in 2020 with an updated interior, a stylish new cover, and a new lease on literary life.

You’ll also be able to read about my upcoming projects as I’m able to share information on them: my current work in progress is Knight School: The Rod-Man Cometh, the first installment in an intended trilogy of historical fantasy, comic academia-type medieval novels meant to capture the nostalgic vibes of classic 80s and 90s fantasy like The Princess Bride and A Knight’s Tale. I plan to query Knight School to agents and publishers beginning in 2026, and I’ll keep you all updated on my progress as I go.

And of course, you can follow me on social media for more up-to-the-minute updates on what I’m doing! Right now my sole true author platform is on Instagram, but I’m considering expanding into others in the future.

Again, thank you for joining me here! I look forward to becoming another member of your bookish community.
